The Giant Steps Programme is designed to help athletes take significant steps forward in both life and sports.
Programme Overview
- Scouting and Selection: Coaches scout talent from various youth leagues and tournaments, selecting the best players to enter our elite training programme. While basketball skills are important, it’s character that we’re really after.
- Strength & Conditioning: The programme starts with a strength and conditioning plan, along with a skills programme, for athletes to follow at home. This ensures they stay in top shape without disrupting the regular academic calendar.
- Mini Training Camps: During the school year, athletes attend mini training camps during holidays. These sessions help maintain and develop their skills throughout the year.
- Non-Residential Camp: In the long vacation, players participate in a non-residential camp, attending two training sessions per week. This stage focuses on both athletic development and character building.
- Residential Camp: The final phase is a week-long residential camp where players fully immerse themselves in the programme. Beyond the court, they engage in character development, life skills training such as cooking and cleaning, and receive career guidance.
- Travel : The programme culminates in a trip where players apply their basketball skills and life lessons in real-world scenarios, preparing them not just for the game, but for life beyond it.
